Crop & Sorghum Fingers - The Original and Still the Best

Sub-Arc Finger Spacing is One Finger per Knife Guard Point

     Misconceptions about Spacings and Gaps

  •   Are Wider Gaps really better?     Some Fingers are made to cover a whole knife Guard - So on a 3" knife guard 2 points will go into the rear of each finger, this effectually gives half the number of gaps leading to   possible clogs and lesser Free Flow.  As a yard stick calculate the Gaps per Foot instead.

  •   Are Wider Fingers really better?     Wider Fingers mean less Gaps.  A  wider finger that covers 2 knife guards means only every second knife blade is actually cutting.  Thus more stalks must flow through less gaps reducing flow and ground speed

All Sub-Arc Fingers are made of Laser Cut

           3.00mm Steel

The Sub-Arc design lends itself for Easy

Replacement of Individual Fingers, just in case the   unforeseen happens.  We even supply a couple of               spare fingers with each new set.

Replacement fingers can be purchased if required.

Sub-Arc Fingers were designed by Contract Harvester,   Cliff Broad for his own use in the early 1990's.  Requests came in for sets from friends that saw them in action.  Word of mouth spread about their quality and effectiveness and demand grew. Thus commercial   production began in 1995.  In 2013 Cliff passed the baton onto John, another Contract Harvester.

Sub-Arc Crop and Sorghum Fingers are true to their Original Design because the design works.

A combined experience of over 70 years in Harvesting of a large variety of crops and conditions means

Sub-Arc Crop and Sorghum Fingers continue to be The Original and The Best
